The girl, Bela, builds a relationship with a frightening creature that lives in her room, a creature eerily similar to her own mother. Oscar\u00ae-winning Jessica Chastain (It: Chapter Two, The Eyes of Tammy Faye) plays two roles, both Bela’s mother and “Other Mommy,” one of the creature’s manifestations. Jay Duplass (Transparent, Industry) plays Daddo, Bela’s father, and Arabella Olivia Clark (The Housemaid, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle) plays Bela. <\/p>\n
The impressive cast includes Actor Award-nominated Dichen Lachman (Severance), Emmy and Tony-nominated Arian Moayed (Succession), and film legend Karen Allen (the Indiana Jones films). <\/p>\n
Other Mommy is directed by Rob Savage (Host, The Boogeyman) from a script by WGA-winning Nathan Elston, who wrote the script for the Emmy-winning sensation Succession, based on the New York Times bestselling novel Incidents Around the House, by Josh Malerman (Bird Box). <\/p>\n
The film is produced by Blumhouse Atomic Monster’s James Wan, p.g.a. (Saw, Insidious and the Conjuring franchise), and executive producers are Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Rob Savage, Josh Malerman and Ryan Lewis.<\/p>\n\n
