S\u00f6rbyn is located about 35 km northwest of central Boden in the R\u00e5ne river valley. Our association is run entirely on a non-profit basis.<\/p>\n\n<p>We have various activities, classes, trips to former settlements in the parish and the surrounding area, meals and caf\u00e9 evenings with slide shows and lectures. We celebrate Sweden&#8217;s National Day and all other cultural days throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n<p>The association is proud of our local which also houses a &#8220;Country Museum&#8221; and a &#8220;Straw Museum&#8221; that are well worth several visits. Large common hall, with information possibilities. A large updated fully equipped &#8220;restaurant kitchen&#8221; is at our disposal. A larger washing machine is also available.<\/p>\n\n<p>Individuals, associations and organisations have the opportunity to rent all or part of the premises at a reasonable price.<br\/>Contact us.
