Tommy Eliasson Winter is the new CEO of Storklinten Rekreation AB. He thus returns home to the place where he spent much of his childhood – the home slopes of Storklinten. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

– This feels incredibly good. Skiing has been and continues to be a big part of my life, I am passionate about development and hope to contribute with the skills and network I have built up during my life in the world of sport. When I come to Storklinten, I always feel great joy as it reminds me of all the fun times I have had here practicing my sport with my family, friends and together with my original club, Storklintens AK SKALP, says Tommy. <\/p>\n\n

Tommy Eliasson Winter has a solid background in skiing and left a leading position at the Swedish Ski Federation in the spring. <\/p>\n\n

Tommy was born and raised in Boden and Storklinten, but moved to Sollefte\u00e5 to attend the ski school there at the age of 16 in his ambition to reach the international elite. His active career ended with the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Since then, based in \u00d6stersund, Tommy has worked in leading positions within the Swedish Ski Federation and will continue to represent Sweden within the International Ski Federation (FIS) where he is currently chairman of the committee dealing with ski cross, member of the Alpine Committee and the Executive Committee. <\/p>\n\n

– It feels great to welcome Tommy back to Boden and Storklinten. I am convinced that with his passion for skiing and Storklinten, he will be able to help us accelerate our development in the coming years. The fact that he also knows almost all the leaders and many of the active players from all corners of the world and speaks the same language definitely facilitates our investment in pre-season training,” says Peter Engstr\u00f6m, co-owner and board member of Storklinten Rekreation AB. <\/p>\n\n

Tommy succeeds Peter Engstr\u00f6m who has been acting CEO. Peter Engstr\u00f6m will remain in the business and continue his work with Storklinten’s development, towards the vision that the facility will become the most attractive destination for recreation and outdoor activities in Norrbotten. <\/p>\n\n

– Storklinten has developed enormously in recent years and the mission and trust I feel from the owners to continue to develop the vision of Storklinten as a destination. Our work to enable families to have a meaningful and active leisure time, combined with helping clubs, ski schools and national teams to create an efficient and financially sustainable training and competition environment, feels incredibly inspiring, says Tommy. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
