International School of Boden (age 12-16)

The International School of Boden, located just south of the arctic circle, educates students from the ages of 6 to 19. Our foundation is built on the need for an international community in the north of Sweden. With the growing number of international families moving to Boden, we have decided to match this demand with the opening of an International Education Program with internationally trained and experienced teachers to provide students with a high-quality worldwide curriculum that is transferable and recognized universally.

The International School of Boden is a Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. The schools are currently pursuing authorization as an IB World School. The schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Boden International School believes is important for our students.

PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM (PYP)

This international curriculum is designed for students aged 6-12 years old and will be held in our primary school Torpgärdsskolan, Boden.

MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAM (MYP)

The MYP is designed for students aged 12-16 years old and will be held in our secondary school Stureskolan, Boden.

DIPLOMA PROGRAM (DP)

The DP is designed for students aged 16-19 located at Björknäsgymnasiet, Boden.
