Space

Sweden is an important space cluster and Luleå University of Technology is a key player in research and education, not least through our international network. Our research develops space technology that also benefits the earth. One example is the development of nanosatellites that can be used to study the world’s oceans and lakes, among other things. Our research on ice particles increases the understanding of the atmosphere.
