There are 6,393 rental apartments in Boden and more are being built all the time. Between 2017-2021, 294 new rental apartments were built in Boden and 100s more are planned for the coming years.

Rental apartments with water location

With its two river valleys and many lakes, you are never far from the water in Boden. Many of our apartments have views of the river, lake or the stream that winds through the centre. In summer, the walking path along Bodån is recommended and in winter it smokes beautifully in the moonlight.

BodenBo

The Bodenbo Foundation is one of Sweden’s public housing foundations and the company’s history dates back to 1947 when the foundation was founded and the Humlan block was built. With more than 2,100 apartments and a few commercial premises, Bodenbo is the largest property company in Boden. Apartments are available in central Boden, Svartbjörnsbyn and Sävast.

Housing queue

To be placed in the housing queue in Boden, register and activate your user in Bodenbo’s housing system. For each day with an activated user, you receive 1 point. The number of points you have can be found on your personal page. The score is personal and cannot be relocated. Remember to log in every six months to keep your earned points.

To stimulate growth in Boden, a person who moves to Boden and starts a permanent or project employment of at least 1 year is offered a start-up bonus of 500 points. In order to receive the start-up bonus, an employment contract and an extract from the population register must be presented.

Housing queue

At Wiksténs Fastigheter, apartments are allocated according to the waiting time. You register your interest based on what you are looking for, a 2 room apartment in the city centre for example. The first 10 receive an offer to look at the apartment and decide whether it is interesting. To know that you are actually interested and in need of an apartment, you need to update your interest every 3 months. If you refuse three times to received offers, you will be removed from our queuing system and lose your queuing time. Our system leads to shorter queues.

No housing queue

Lundströms Fastigheter does not have a housing queue. You can sign up to their email which is sent to all those who have registered. You have to fill in an application form for each apartment you want to apply for and first come first served.
