If you’re nice, you get presents. If you’re naughty, justice awaits.
David Harbour returns as Santa Claus in an action-packed new chapter of festive chaos from 87North – the successful producers behind the Bullet Train, John Wick, The Fall Guy, Atomic Blonde, and Nobody franchises – alongside returning action director Tommy Wirkola.
In 2022’s fist-filled Christmas hit Violent Night, a bitter Santa Claus, capable of deadly violence, took on a gang of mercenaries to save a girl and her family. Now, the not-so-jolly Santa dons his suit again to face a ruthless gangster (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Jared Harris) who has been terrorizing the merchants of the Silver Bell Mall.
But when Santa forgets the true meaning of Christmas, he finds himself in the heart of a bustling mall that turns out to be in desperate need of his help. Stripped of his magic, he must find a new way to stop the mall’s thugs, and time is running out. Santa must rediscover his faith in good and, at the last minute, calls for backup from the one person no troublemaker wants to mess with: Mrs. Claus (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kristen Bell).
In addition to David Harbour, Jared Harris, and Kristen Bell, the dynamic cast also features Emmy-winning veteran actor Joe Pantoliano (The Last of Us, The Sopranos), Daniela Melchior (Fast X, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Andrew Bachelor (Greenland, The Walking Dead), and professional wrestler Maxwell Friedman (The Iron Claw, Happy Gilmore 2).
Violent Night 2 is once again directed by filmmaker Tommy Wirkola and produced by 87North founders Kelly McCormick and David Leitch. The film’s screenwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller also return. Violent Night 2 is distributed by Universal Pictures.
