Kristallkulans preschool

Kristallkulans preschool is located in S:a Svartbyn about 4 km from the center, and has 7 portals.

Kristallkulan preschool has seven portals, three portals for children aged 1-3 years, two portals for children aged 3-4 years and two portals for children aged 4-5 years. The preschool has a good cooperation between the different portals, so when the children move to the 4 and 5 year old portals, the teachers are well known by the children.

The large outdoor environment is divided into three different sections, an outdoor environment that inspires play and exploration with playground equipment, a football pitch, woodland, grass and sand. Inside the Kristallkulan preschool there is a large sports hall, studios, water play/experiments, construction/carpentry room, language/mathematics room and a restaurant. The preschool offers a safe environment that challenges and encourages play and activities, both inside and outside.

Everyone who works at Kristallkulan preschool wants to give children a good preschool experience as a foundation to take with them into the world of school and beyond. This is in line with the preschool’s profile, “Safe environment for knowledge development”. In collections/themes/projects, we weave in work with technology, mathematics, language development, natural science, creativity, movement, gender equality and the Convention on the Rights of the Child – all in accordance with the curriculum and our own core values “The Crystal Model”.

Children’s meals are prepared by two cooks and served in the preschool’s restaurant “Kristallen”. There is also a stage in the restaurant where children can play. a performs and plays theater.
