“My parents came from Iran and did their chef training here in Boden. They really enjoyed it, and my dad always said that in Boden, he could breathe. That has stayed with me for 40 years. Now I live here and I couldn’t describe it better myself,” says Samira Westlin.

She, her husband Tobias, and their dog Nero left Gävle for Tobias’s job at Stegra. Through Boden’s relocation service and job matching, Samira also quickly found work and is now a labor market consultant at JobbCenter.
