Meet Kevin Bruseby! 21 years old and new to Boden since June this year. He comes from Linköping and from a family where both mom and dad are photography enthusiasts. That he himself would pick up a camera in his early teens, look through the viewfinder for the first time, and become interested in photography was hardly unexpected.
In Boden, we often talk about “taking the leap,” and that’s exactly what they did. The family had been to Norrbotten on vacation before, where they visited Kiruna and Jukkasjärvi, among other places, and quickly became interested in moving here thanks to the proximity to nature.
— Oh well, we figured you only live once! But Boden felt just the right size, and then there’s the fact that you always have nature right around the corner. It feels like I’ve found the right place, Kevin says with a smile.
He’s just started studying business and economics at the university, but all his free time goes to exploring Boden’s nature—through the camera lens. He’s passionate about nature photography, and his specialty has become capturing fog.
— It’s become my thing. I try to have my own style so you can look at a picture and tell it’s mine. The fog is a way to make the images unique, and it feels so powerful to stand right in the middle of it.
