The Local Heritage Association and its board work together with Boden Municipality to preserve and develop the local heritage area in Boden. The old buildings, which contain many interesting artifacts from rural society, showcase a part of our cultural heritage.
The area also includes tools from various activities and examples of old craft traditions. Extensive renovation and restoration projects are continuously ongoing and require significant commitment and volunteer work.
Traditional activities such as Midsummer celebrations, activity days for children, heritage days, Christmas markets, etc. are organized for the public. Traditional soft flatbread is also baked in the bakery during these events.
Some facilities can be rented for meetings, courses, and various events.
