Slalom and snowboard

In Boden we have the facilities Pagla, Gruvberget, and Storklinten, where Pagla and Gruvberget are more for the less experienced skiers. Storklinten is suitable for all skiers and is heavily utilized by the world elite during the preseason. The slopes in Boden offer a mix of challenging and family-friendly skiing experiences.

Pagla

Pagla, a centrally located option offering two ski slopes with lifts, perfect for a varied skiing experience. The slopes are approximately 250 meters and 50 meters long, making them suitable for different skill levels. Additionally, there is a toboggan hill for the youngest visitors. Pagla is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and is an excellent choice for those seeking a cozy and accessible skiing experience. The local alpine association Skalp manages the ski lifts.

Gruvberget

Gruvberget, operated by Friluftsfrämjandet Boden, has a ski slope with a lift. This slope is typically open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from February to April. Gruvberget offers an authentic skiing experience with its direct connection to the association’s cabin, providing a homely feeling. It is also possible to call and check the slope’s status, which is useful on colder days.

Storklinten

Storklinten is a comprehensive outdoor facility offering several different slopes for both experienced and inexperienced downhill skiers. With its focus on safe and enjoyable skiing on well-prepared slopes, Storklinten is ideal for all types of skiers. The facility not only offers slalom and snowboarding but also activities such as fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, making it a versatile destination for outdoor recreation year-round. Accommodation and a restaurant are also available during the peak season.
