Dance direction association is an association with the vision to always be there & inspire dance! And develop the individual’s knowledge & enjoyment of dance regardless of age, experience & level of ambition. At the Dance direction association, everyone is equally important!
A large part of D.d.’s activity consists of evening classes in dance and acrobatics for children aged 2-18 in Boden, Råneå and Älvsbyn. D.d offers different dance styles such as Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Street Dance and Children’s Dance. At the beginning of each semester, there is a trial period for children who want to try out our courses.
Once a year in May, D.d puts together professional and colorful student shows that are usually highly appreciated and talked about by both the audience and the students. D.d. goes all out with elaborate costumes, lights, choreography and imaginative scripts that often have a theme that students can’t wait to learn about.
During the year, various free activities are organized for children in Boden, such as Halloween disco, Sports Holiday Crafts, Fairy Tale Dance and Summer Dance. This is usually organized with the support of various sponsors.
D.d also organizes bachelor or bachelorette parties. We offer everything from ready-made packages to fully customized experiences. The content is adapted so that everyone can participate in the dance, but the bride/groom is of course at the center!
