We welcome everyone to our activities which we run in our local in Sörbyn (former school building). Sörbyn is located about 35 km northwest of central Boden in the Råne river valley. Our association is run entirely on a non-profit basis.
We have various activities, classes, trips to former settlements in the parish and the surrounding area, meals and café evenings with slide shows and lectures. We celebrate Sweden’s National Day and all other cultural days throughout the year.
The association is proud of our local which also houses a “Country Museum” and a “Straw Museum” that are well worth several visits. Large common hall, with information possibilities. A large updated fully equipped “restaurant kitchen” is at our disposal. A larger washing machine is also available.
Individuals, associations and organisations have the opportunity to rent all or part of the premises at a reasonable price.
