After their ship is caught in a mysterious storm, the PAW Patrol pups crash-land on an unknown tropical island full of dinosaurs. There they meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert on all things dinosaur. When the PAW Patrol’s arch-nemesis, Mayor Humdinger, recklessly opens mines in hopes of exploiting the island’s natural resources, he accidentally causes a large, dormant volcano to erupt. The PAW Patrol pups are thrown into a series of dangerous, dinosaur-sized rescue missions—bigger than anything they have ever done before—to try and stop Mayor Humdinger before all life on the island is wiped out.
